Family fun

Last Friday, Gevin and I happened to stumble upon Parents and Pastries - a school event that happens once a month for school kids and their parents. We can gather in the cafeteria as soon as 7:30 am to read books with our children and have a piece of yummy pastry, (like a doughnut, muffin, cream cheese or jam filled pastries that are very hard to pass up) for breakfast. We were looking for Gevin's forgotten lunchboxes. He was missing a couple so I decided to go to school with him to see if we could find them together since he was not successful in doing that himself. We did find the lunch boxes and then had a little bit of bonus time together sitting down and talking while Gevin was enjoying a great tasting muffin.  Katlynn was already with her friend Rayne somewhere...  Gevin and I also found a table in the hallway with free Ogden Raptors tickets. We so loved going to the baseball game last time all of us went and we would love to go again... so we took 6 tickets. Just enough for everyone.

Scouts in Jail

Tuesday was the most fun Scout meeting I have experienced so far. We got to go to the Box Elder County Jail!!! One of the detectives gave us a private tour. The boys were able to do and see a lot of cool stuff they would not normally be able to. They got to wear a bulletproof vest and a helmet. Probably the funniest thing of all was they got handcuffed and put into a cage of a Police truck. So they pretty much got arrested.
